Welcome to CAPS
CAPS provides free hybrid mental health counseling services to enrolled students in Washington state. CAPS can assist ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ U students with identifying resources and services that best fit each student’s unique circumstances.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) leads the campus community in supporting and promoting evidenced-based, confidential mental health care for enrolled students through individual and group counseling, urgent mental health care, referral services, and educational programming. As a student-centered office, CAPS mental health professionals ethically promote holistic student wellness by valuing relationships, diverse identities, and collaboration with students and stakeholders to empower the campus community.

8:30am - 12pm PST
1pm - 4:30pm PSTCAPS Urgent Hours are:

For mental health support outside of university business hours, visit , login with your SU credentials, and select "TalkNow". In an emergency, contact Public Safety at 206-296-5911.

Counseling Services
We offer scheduled counseling options and urgent hours services for free to enrolled students. Whether you are hoping to speak to a counselor privately, work with peers to address shared mental health concerns, or are feeling overwhelmed and need to speak with someone urgently, we can assist you.

Schedule a time to sit down with our staff for a 1-on-1 case management assessment of your needs, or browse our referral directories to find a provider that is right for you.
TimelyCare - Free Online Counseling
For mental health support outside of university business hours, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ provides enrolled students with free access to TimelyCare services and counseling. For more information on how to utilize this service, click here.
