ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ

Sophia joined the CEJS team in 2025 and serves as the Sustainability Coordinator to develop and implement a wide range of sustainability projects, events, and initiatives. With experience working in local government departments and educational agencies, she brings expertise in community outreach, environmental education, and project coordination. Sophia earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Policy, Politics, and Justice, and Public Affairs with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and graduated summa cum laude from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Throughout her academic career, her research focused on engaging with rural communities about public health and environmental initiatives. Sophia is passionate about working toward equitable, just, and socially informed environmental solutions on campus and beyond. Born and raised in a small town in Oregon, Sophia enjoys exploring her new home of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in her free time. She loves reading, running, volunteering, making music, and spending time with friends and family.
